Who we are

Bridgeling Books is an independent children's imprint of Little Roots Press, based in Canada. We publish writing workbooks for children of immigrant families, in English and in French.

Why we exist

Many children understand their family's language but cannot write it, and many parents don't know how to teach it. Our books give families a simple routine they can follow together, even without teaching experience.

How we make our books

Each workbook follows the same method: model, guided stroke on the center line, independent writing. Word lists and pronunciations are reviewed by native speakers before publication. Some illustrations are created with the help of AI tools and then selected and checked by us.
